There’s a lot to love about this Capital One card for students. You get unlimited 3% cash back on dining, entertainment, streaming services, and grocery stores, excluding Walmart and Target. Plus, rewards for Uber Eats and tickets purchased through Capital One Entertainment, no annual fees, and more. The only thing to watch out for is the high APR.

UGH every time we get super excited about a great card, their rewards program throws a crazy curve ball at us and excludes Walmart and Target. Why they gotta hate on our two favorite stores? But, you get unlimited…yes unlimited 3% cash back on dining, grocery stores (excluding superstores like Walmart and Target), and streaming services. AND you can Uber Eats to your dorm room for 10% cash back until Nov. 14, 2024. AND there is no annual fee AND there is no foreign transaction fee. The benefits just keep pouring in so we can almost forgive the annoying exclusions. Plus you get 8% cash back on tickets purchased through Capital One Entertainment. The APR on this card is high but you are a student and, such is life until you build your credit history. We are definitely a fan of this card. Just use something else at Walmart and Target. 😉
